The Purchasing function in JDE is on the journey to a Worlds Class Procurement Organisation delivering against JDE Business ambition. Key responsibilities of the function is to deliver the most competitive cost & cash base, to create top line value by building and managing a strong supplier base, and to champion a culture of pride and performance in the Purchasing team.

Regional Procurement Manager MEA & EECA is primarily responsible for a development and execution of Procurement strategy to ensure an uninterrupted supply of JDE with a full range of and services across direct and indirect categories in the following counties: 

-          MEA: Turkey, South Africa, Morocco (direct and indirect categories)

-          EECA: Kazakhstan (direct and indirect categories), Uzbekistan, Georgia (indirect categories)

Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, the Regional Procurement Manager MEA & EECA leads a team (10-15 associates) and ensures a development and execution of robust sourcing strategies, supply and price risk mitigation strategies, Productivity accomplishments via various strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier development and supplier relationship management programs.

For this role as a Regional Procurement Manager MEA&EECA we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Build, lead and coach a high performing team of Procurement experts to create and implement category sourcing plans that quickly deliver tangible results.
  • Build effective relationships engaging with stakeholders across functions and country business units that maximise value and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively manage supplier relationships to deliver cost & cash results, to drive continuous improvement and position JDE as a customer of choice.
  • Measure and benchmark performance to ensure that JDE has the most competitive cost base in your category.
  • Drive innovation programs across direct and indirect categories to continually search for cost saving opportunities, new technologies, new products and new suppliers that contribute to the overall strategy of the business.  
  • Define and implements sourcing strategies for respective categories, leads execution and tracks benefits realization.
  • Liaise with the Finance in order to manage the financial process related to investments and purchases (including depreciation)
  • Establish and analyses performance metrics in order to evaluate key performance.
  • Manage contracts within the area of responsibilty and ensures contract compliance considering payments terms, prices, discounts & rebates and performance in close collaboration with business. 
  • Identify, prioritize and drive implementation of continuous improvement opportunities in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee high level risk management activities (and gains risk management expertise) for respective category areas.
